The MRPC team participated in the BIOMEDevice show, which took place December 4-5, 2019 in San Jose, CA. The show was well attended and offered opportunities for us to speak with attendees about upcoming projects and challenges that they are currently encountering.
The topic that came up the most, with those we spoke with, was silicone overmolding onto thermoplastics, micro molding, and silicone over micro molding. There seems to be a trend occurring for smaller, less intrusive, and more comfortable devices.
In addition, the organizations that we spoke with were looking for support, advice and direction from an engineering resource. Frankly, we welcome these types of discussions and opportunities to partner with our clients to solve product design or manufacturing problems.
