MRPC, a single-source provider of medical device components and assemblies, has hired Jeff Pelkofer as Senior Project Engineer. Pelkofer focuses on new product development efforts, working closely with customers to develop products from concept to molded items or assemblies.
Pelkofer’s responsibilities include collaborating with MRPC toolmakers on tooling design and development, and with the process engineering team. He also works with the quality department to provide customers with quality documentation and validation required for product approval and to meet specifications. Pelkofer’s addition to the company supports the ongoing growth MRPC has experienced in recent years.
“I appreciate MPRC’s dynamic approach and am excited to work with products that directly improve people’s lives,” Pelkofer said. “I also wanted to work with and learn more about silicone, so I’m enjoying the learning opportunities here and the medical aspect of it,” he said.
Pelkofer has more than 23 years of experience in the plastic injection molding industry, as both project and product development engineer. Most recently, he served as account engineer at a plastic components manufacturer in Germantown, Wis. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE).
